Renewable Energy Incentives Planned by Co-op |

In additional to the portfolio of rebates United Power offers each year for energy efficient technology and appliances, this Brighton-based electric co-op is planning to expand its renewable energy incentives in 2010.
Since 2008, United Power has partnered with the Governor’s Energy Office to provide solar incentives to members and also facilitate the payment of both GEO and United Power rebates. This year, GEO’s rebate program has been expanded and reorganized to offer additional rebates to Colorado residents and allow GEO to process and issue rebates directly to consumers. The expansion of the GEO rebate program is good news for United Power members, but details of the program won’t be finalized until some time in the first quarter of 2010.
