United Power Adds Renewable Incentives PDF Print E-mail
Rebates for wind energy have been added to the list of renewable energy incentives offered by Brighton electric cooperative United Power.

Solar incentives were added in 2008. In 2009, these solar incentives were expanded to include small commercial and now in 2010, United Power expanded its program to include its first wind rebates.

United Power’s new energy portfolio offers several options at various price points to help members make the most of their energy investment. Customers are encouraged to fully investigate a variety of energy options before investing in new equipment.

In should be noted that in the past, United Power partnered with the State of Colorado Governors Energy Office to provide members a combined renewable rebate program. That continues with the United Power renewable rebate program being offered in conjunction with the state program. Members have been encouraged to apply for both programs to maximize their rebates for renewable energy.
